Self-Guided Candle Making Experience — 1 Hour 30 Minutes

Create your own custom candle at Willow + Harlow with our self-guided candle-making experience. This relaxed session walks you through the entire process, from choosing your vessel to decorating your finished candle.

What’s Included:

Choose Your Vessel
Select from our 8 oz or 10 oz candle vessels, available in a variety of styles.

Explore the Scent Wall
Smell your way through our full fragrance library to discover the scent you love. You may choose a single fragrance or blend multiple oils to create a custom scent.

Blend Your Oils
Measure and mix your chosen fragrance oils to create a blend that is uniquely yours.

Pour Your Candle
Combine your custom blend with warm soy wax and pour it into your selected vessel. All guests must sign a consent form before beginning, as you will be working with hot wax.

Cure Time — 40 Minutes
Your candle requires about 40 minutes to cure. You may stay in the studio, explore Port Jeff Village and return, or leave your candle with us to pick up the next day.
If needed, shipping is available for a $10 fee.

Finishing Touches
Once your candle has cured, return to decorate the top with botanicals or seasonal embellishments and create your label.
A custom pre-made label can be added for an additional fee and must be arranged in advance.

Booking Information

Choose the time slot that works best for you. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full experience.
Bookings may be rescheduled; however, missed appointments are non-refundable.

To enjoy a clean, even burn every time, remember to trim your wooden wick before each use. Keep it about ⅛–¼ inch long and remove any charred pieces before relighting. Always allow your candle to melt across the entire surface during the first burn to prevent tunneling. With proper care, your wooden wick will give you a cozy crackle and a longer-lasting, safer burn.

We work hard to ship your order as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed within 5–7 business days, depending on supply availability. At this time, we do not accept returns, but if your order arrives damaged during shipping, please reach out to us right away so we can make it right.

Once your candle is poured and customized, it’s yours to keep! Custom candles are final sale and not eligible for returns.
